Just Another Manic Monday
Knowing that I had a place to record my
thoughts made for an interesting day.
Although being my age I fail to remember
the cool little details! ***snicker...***
One would think I was 82 years old, huh Trav?
One thing that has stirred around in my head
for nearly 15 years is this:
"Be bold and courageous....when you look back on your life
you'll regret more what you DIDN'T do then what you DID do."
This is how I have tried to live my life. I have made
lots of mistakes and poor choices but I never will
wonder "what would have happened if.....".
I think back and wonder how I made it!
I have a page a day calendar called "5 THINGS
TO BE HAPPY ABOUT" and it is filled with wonderful
morsels I'll share on occasion. The one that
slapped me up alongside my face this morning was
~~~~~ a little more patience ~~~~~YIKES!!!
Yeah that WOULD be pretty nice wouldn't it?
Okay MR. Calendar Maker ..well OF COURSE
it was a man....throw this at me on a Monday
(of all days) and make it be a Monday that I find
out my husband will be off all week because he just
can't quite shake this bronchitis of his.
Patience, Julie, patience!
Dear Jesus PLEASE teach me patience!!!
I believe in the sun even if it isn't shining.
I believe in love even when I am alone.
I believe in God even when He is silent. ---UnknownI believe sometimes I just need to shut-up
and start listening to what He is saying to me---umm ME ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I believe in God like I believe in the sun rise.
Not because I can see it, but because I can see
all that it touches.
-- C. S. Lewis~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Those are my jewels and junque for the day.
You decide which is what. Coco ! The cupboard is stocked with chocolate
or your bad days and popcorn for your better
days. Help yourself anytime! Hug, happiness and harmony,Julie
I like the advice to be bold. I'd rather look back in my life at mistakes of commission rather than ommission.
When I interviewed for my current position, I was asked, if there was anything I regret and would go back and change given the opportunity .. but you know... I am who I am, and I'm where I am because of my past actions.. I like me.. Truly I do..
Thank you for sharing of yourself, it is a gift I cherish.
