Always Learning

Well, I've always said that the day I don't learn something is the day I start to die. This morning was no exception. You see I have this "old as the hills" little zip-up hooded sweatshirt jacket that I throw on all the time. Heaven knows where it came from....perhaps a friend of one of my kids left it here but regardless I staked claim to it years ago. I suppose I could call it "comfort" clothing. I have it on right now and I absolutely love it!

So last night I put a few little puppy treats in the pocket....hoping that Cali would just follow me around and I wouldn't miss any cute little thing she did. I tossed a treat here and a treat there and we had a fun time with the game....yeah Chloe got some puppy treats also.

As I headed off to bed after some late night blog reading I casually tossed this coveted article of clothing across my bamboo "fruit bowl" chair. I quickly drifted off to slumber land. As usual the little barking from Cali started around 630am. "Let me out, let me out of this crate, let me out!"

I stumbled out of bed grabbed the neccessary coveted article of clothing only to find a hole as big as life chewed out of the pocket and of course the little puppy treats were all gone! The shredded fabric still had dog slobber all over it! Who do you think the guilty party is?

Cali is the little one and Chloe is the big one.

So as far as the learning....well I'll probably forget....did I ever tell you the one about my favorite big white shirt coverup? Didn't think so.....It would work for a Janet Jackson shenanigan but not for me!
