Julie's Jewels and Junque

Welcome to my spot! A place filled with jewels and junk. Come on in and let me know what junk food you like, I'll be sure to have some here for you. Just leave me a note on what you take so I have plenty upon your return!. The jewels you ask? Well, hopefully you find my scattered thoughts as precious as gems.

What's of Most Importance?

Hey sweet friends...check this out.

The Greatest Gift to Give

Be careful then how you live, not as unwise people but as wise,
making the most of the time, because the days are evil. (Ephesians
5:15-16 NRS)

A young and successful attorney said, "The greatest gift I have ever
received was a gift I got one Christmas. My father handed me a small
box, and inside was a note saying, 'Son, this year I'm giving you 365
hours -- an hour every day after dinner.' My dad not only kept his
promise, but every year he renewed it. That's the greatest gift I have
ever received in my life. I am the result of his time."

It was the best Christmas gift he had ever given!

Curtis Meadors told me a few days back that he had done basically the
same thing. He gave his children -- as a Christmas present -- the gift
of time. He also thought it was the best Christmas gift he had ever
given.

Maybe this Christmas is the season for giving the gift of time to your
children.

God bless you and yours in this season of joy, peace, and love!

Merry Christmas all! One of these days I’ll learn how to post pictures and videos.

Hugs, Happiness and Harmony

Julie

Truth in this story, Julie, and I think that the time I spend with my son each day is the best gift I can give MYSELF. Food for thought. Merry Christmas, dear.

Dearest sweet Julie... Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. You certainly do know what to post and when to post it.
The best gift I was given this year is time, with Mom before she leaves, with my daughter... watching her bring a smile to Mom's lips... and a much needed hug for Dad...

God Bless you and your family as this year of Joys and hardships comes to an end. It has been a blessing to have you enter my life.
