Like a Kitchen Should Smell

Hey gang! For this week’s Thursday Thirteen I
decided to pick my favorite cookie recipes for
Christmas. Along with the name of the cookie,
I have included a brief description and if you
would like me to email the recipe just let me know!

Lemon Snowflake Cookie-very simple a youngster
could make it!

Peanut Blossom Cookies-the one with the Kiss
in the middle!

Cut Out Cookies-yup the time consuming ones!
But it’s just not Christmas without them.

Merry Cherry Cheesecake Bars-Oh so yummy...
with Philadelphia Cream Cheese. Easy to make.

Jeweled Thumbprint Cookie-the ones with the
jelly in the middle

Holiday Gumdrop Cookies-reminds me of my youth

No Bake Cookies-with the oatmeal & chocolate

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies-really tasty!

Chewy Surprise Cookies-guess what the surprise is?
MILKDUDS!! WOOOOO!!!

Cherry Ice Box Cookies-great almond flavoring,
slice and bake style. One of my top favorites!

Chocolate Crinkle Cookies-the one with powdered
sugar, chewy!

Chocolate Marshmallow Cookie-ooh yeah! My
daughter’s favorite!

Surprise Package Cookies-yup I like surprises!
It’s Andes mints!!

For many years I made 14-16 different recipes
and even doubled several batches. I was a cookie
baking maniac back in the day.

I kinda hope that “day” returns.

I hope you enjoyed my choice for this Thursday’s Thirteen.

Watch your actions; they become habits.
Watch your habits; they become character.
Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.
