It's a Boy!
This date 22 years ago at 5:26am my world changed.

I hold him and his tiny little legs are drawn up and bent at the knees. His tiny little head rests against my left shoulder. It was always my left shoulder. His tiny little arms folded comfortably near his face with fingers relaxed. His eyes are closed and his little baby lips are perfect and pink.
I stand alone with him in the diningroom swaying to the song listening intently to the lyrics. My eyes mist over with emotion as they are now. I feel his head rest just a little heavier against my left shoulder and I know he's asleep. I continue the slow dance. I never want it to end.
My life has been such a whirlwind since I saw you
I've been running around in circles in my mind
Baby it always seems that I'm following you
Cause you take me to the places that alone I'd never find
And even as I wonder I'm keeping you sight
You're a candle in the window on a cold, dark winter's night
And I'm getting closer than I ever thought I might.
When he hugs me now....he goes to my left shoulder. Hmmm I never realized that until now.

That's such a great tribute! I'm going to have to make note of my next hug with Ashlyn, that may be a while, since she's 17 and it's gross to hug me too much, unless she needs/wants something. LOL
