There's No Place Like Home

Home! And this is my room - and you are all here! And I'm not going to leave here ever again, because I love you all! And --- Oh, Auntie Em ----- there's no place like home!"

Yup...after over a week I have my pc up and running. I have tons of stuff to relocate like all my bookmarks for bloggers such as yourself. Yes it does feel like a tornado blasted through here and there isn't much left but it's home!

Isn't it funny how blogging can create the need to "sidetrack"? Check out this site. This is too cool! Click right here!

This really was a scary movie in it's time. The witch and those awful flying monkeys.....oh they STILL bother me.

Well, I'm not off to see the Wizard but I am off to find everything that made this feel like home.....my favorites....Oh how will I remember them all? UGH!!! If I comment on your blog but you don't see your link on my sidebar please let me know what you address is so I can find you. Does anyone have the capability to send me Microsoft Office? For some reason it didn't come back to me.

I hope to be back to reading and commenting and having fun real soon!

Okay y'all I gotta fly! Tee hee hee!!!!!!

Hugs, Happiness and Harmony!
Julie

I can remember as a kid when the time rolled around for The Wizard of Oz to be shown on TV. It was a big event.

We treated it like going to the drive-in. We got in our PJ's, made popcorn, and curled up on the floor with our blankets.

Even after we'd seen it several times, we'd still be worried that Toto wouldn't make it back to Dorothy!

Bless your heart! The monkeys didn't scare me - you know what scared me? The Oompah-Loopmahs from Willy Wonka. Those orange things with the green hair. Yeah, those scared me.

Funny, I didn't consider the Wizard of Oz a scary movie, but I did wish I had a pair of ruby slippers! Man, to be able to just click your heels together and go wherever you wanted...that would be so cool! :)

When I was a kid, the old lady that played the Wicked Witch of the West in Wizard of Oz was on Maxwell House coffee commercials.

I used to watch those commercials with morbid fascination, trying to reconcile the sweet old lady serving coffee with the witch trying to kill Dorothy.
