Thursday Thirteen-Christmas Cheer

Well it's been a long time since I've done a Thursday Thirteen and as I was racing around clicking pictures of my Christmas decorations I thought..take 13, take 13! So here you go! I wish I had 13 pictures of cookies though! Mmmmm...oh well maybe I'll bake some cut-outs later.

See y'all? There's my mixer! Good intentions at least! It weighs so much I wasn't going to put it away until I was absolutely certain I was done baking cookies.

Yeah...I love my kitchen...it's so pretty!

Okay y'all check this out! This is original Spode pieces! The plate, dish with lid and the carafe in the back right were ALL found at yard sales at homes where the people didn't know the value! Talk about grabbin', grinnin' and goin'! All three pieces a little over 10 bucks! Woo!! Some of the platters go for $80-90!

This is in my dining room...my little village. I had a couple neighbor girls set this up...it gave them opportunity to relive their younger years....and saved me some time!

They had lots of funs laying the road and sprinkling the snow. Click on the picture to see more details.

This is an antique buffet table that we grabbed at a yard sale a couple years ago...came with the glass for the top for just $30! What a steal!

This hutch was Jeff's grandma's and upon her passing we were very glad to have a piece of furniture that was so special to her. We store both of our grandparents good dishes in here. The photograph is my grandma. I still need to get one of Jeff''s grandma. The plate on the left was a real steal....an Avon collectible dated 1978 (the year I graduated) that I found a couple years ago for less then $5! I love a bargain!

STOCKINGS! Woo! We love our stockings! Eight of 'em this year....three for pets and five for people! Yup...Jeff's stocking in the biggest....I can almost fit in it!

Well...this isn't my pc either. But I was running out of places to take pictures. Cali thinks this is her snowman though. I had to put it up so she would leave it along. Yeah so our living room has three computers in it all hooked up to the internet...kinda crazy. I didn't take a picture of my computer...I didn't feel like cleaning up my desk! Bwahahaha!! Hey....it's deadline week and things are a disaster!
