The Cookie

So last night we decided on Oriental food. I wanted to keep working on the turkey and ham, noodles and potatoes but Jeff had his fill of that stuff. So off we went. We gorged just for the mere fact that buffet means “eat till your buttons pop or till you have to unzip your pants”. It must have been a woman who designed stretch jeans! But unfortunately that was NOT what I was wearing yesterday.

Fortune cookies have always interested me especially since they usually have very wise thoughts inside the tasty little cookie. My snippet of paper said, “When both feet are planted firmly, nothing can shake you.” I thought that was quite profound. Not a fortune at all but a truism! So if you want to be unshakeable decide what you need to do to achieve a strong foothold. Then start doing it!
