Julie's Jewels and Junque

Welcome to my spot! A place filled with jewels and junk. Come on in and let me know what junk food you like, I'll be sure to have some here for you. Just leave me a note on what you take so I have plenty upon your return!. The jewels you ask? Well, hopefully you find my scattered thoughts as precious as gems.

UNWRITTEN

As I finished my blog reading late last night through bleary
exhausted eyes, I realized that there is so much hurt and
uncertainty in our world and especially in our blogging group.
I want to offer some hope, yet sometimes I am at a loss.
I give the words to Natasha Bedingfield’s “Unwritten”.
To all of you with hearts aching beyond all imagination
please remember this; the pen IS in your hand and YOU
make the determining factor. Please do it with your
“higher power”.

I choose Christ.

I am unwritten, can't read my mind, I'm undefined
I'm just beginning, the pen's in my hand, ending
unplanned

Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not
find

Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibition
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is when your book begins
The rest is still unwritten

I break tradition, sometimes my tries, are outside the
lines
We've been conditioned to not make mistakes, but I
can't live that way

Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not
find

Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inner visions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is when your book begins

Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is when your book begins
The rest is still unwritten

Staring at the blank page before you

The rest is still unwritten
The rest is still unwritten

Kudos to Natasha for sharing a song that crossed over to Christian radio!

Hugs, Happiness and Harmony,
