It's a Monday!
The One Thing
Here are some little tidbits:
I've learned that the greatest challenge of life is to decide what is important and to disregard everything else. Age 51
I've learned that people who wear Mickey Mouse watches are usually creative and fun to be with. Age 33 ***well...I guess I better go find that watch and get a new battery!***
I've learned that nothing really bad happens when you tear those "Do not remove" tags from pillows. Age 31
I've learned that it makes me sad when I'm the last one chosen for a team. Age9
I've learned that animals can sometimes warm your heart better then people can. Age15 ***I had a pretty bad fall yesterday...snow packed on the heel of my boot and my vinyl kitchen floor make for a really bad connection...but as I went down and cracked my knee into the oak door frame I glanced over at Chloe...my chocolate lab...she looked so sad! Her face nearly made me cry....the compassion! The instant I smiled she started wagging her tail. She didn't move until I stood and started to walk.
Happy Monday, Y'all!
Hugs, Happiness and Harmony,
Julie

I am sometimes overwhelmed by the compassion and affinity my little dogs show me. I was upset one evening recently and Callie would not leave me. She'd occasionally lift her head up and sniff me--sort of touch me with her nose and then give me a little kiss. She's such a doll baby. And so is Chloe--she's very sensitive as well.

There are times when I'm sick, and Mr Tucker knows it. He'll slowly sneak up on my chest, and settle in - he weighs 20lbs, but treads so lightly.
Then he'll put his paws on the sides of my face and head rub my chin.
Make sure you ice that bruise real good and WATCH YOUR DANG STEP!!!!

After Mom passed and I finally made it home, Chelsea the Beagle (the fat Beagle but don't tell her I said that) climbed up onto the bed, licked my cheek (I think she was tenderizing me) and curled up in my lap. She spent the whole night there.. stuck to me like a hot water bottle...
Take care of that knee honey girl!
SMOOCH!
