Serenity

Welcome to my place! When Jeff and I were looking for our first home to put us permanently in debt the realtor drove us down this little lane called "In Debt Forever but it's Gorgeous". I share with you some outdoor pictures.

This is our special outdoor sitting area. Before I got addicted to my computer this is where I would wile away hour after hour doing crosswords, reading and doing paperwork. I still love it and as soon as I can pull my computer out here........

Check out the two birch trees growing from the floor through the roof! The trees shot out at least 20 feet beyond the roof and although it was a fantastic site the fragility of the branches caused problems and we feared major disaster if we left them standing tall. I'm still trying to do something really impressive with the trunks that will stay.

This is the main door with hanging baskets and finch feeders. The bird feeders are right out the kitchen window and I spend some time with my morning coffee enjoying the finches.

This is one of my many garden areas. For the gardeners.... in this garden I have foxglove, hosta that looks pretty sad and several other things that I can't remember. Oh yeah.....I have an ugly spouting tube too! Ugh!

My pride and joy! My fishpond! Wooo!! We had this put in last year and although it does require a lot of effort it is worth it. I'm hoping that my waterlilies will bloom this year. I have forget-me-nots, irises and columbine blooming right now. The Asiatic lilies are just waiting to burst open and the black-eyed Susans look very lush.

The light in the foreground in one of four solar powered lights that Nathan gave to me last year and to the left of it is an elephant stepping stone that Sara recently gave to me. I can hear the waterfall when I have my bedroom windows open upstairs. It's a wonderful way to fall asleep!

We just restocked with several types of fish, tadpoles and snails. Last winter was so harsh and we lost everything. Oh, oh you can see my waterlily in this picture! I have tons of birds and squirrels that love to stay around here also. That's why I call this serenity.

Thanks for visiting! Hey! I just remembered something....click on the picture to make it bigger....or not...well I think it's cool! Woo!!!!

Hugs, Happiness and Harmony!
Julie
