I have listed 13 reasons why we should salute our flag on this Flag Day 2007.

4. American Civil War
5. Spanish American War
6. Philippine-American War
 7. World War 1
8. World War 2
9. Korean War
10. Vietnam War
11. Persian Gulf War
12. War on Terrorism
13. Persian Gulf War 2

In addition to these reasons may we remember the men and women in the branches of our military who are currently serving.

    Great post. Yours is the first one I've seen regarding Flag Day.

    I saw a comment on someone's blog recently by a European person who said they just didn't understand American's reverence for their flag.

    As you show here, it's what it stands for, lot's of blood and sacrifice.
