Relationships
A Strange Situation
From the standpoint of daily life, however, there is one thing we do know: That we are here for the sake of others...for the countless unknown souls with whose fate we are connected by a bond of sympathy.
Many times a day, I realize how much my outer and inner life is built upon the labors of people, both living and dead, and how earnestly I must exert myself in order to give in return as much as I have received.
Empathy, as I understand, brings the relationship closer as
one was experiencing it themselves while talking with
the one who IS experiencing it. When people share elation or
devastation with you how do you respond? Does your heart lift
with joy for their joy? Does your heart ache when their heart
does? Or do you breathe a sigh of relief to know that you don't
have it so bad or feel jealousy because you don't have it so good?
Relationships...the way we connect with people...how can you
make your relational skills better? Afterall Mr. Einstein said it
wonderfully..."We ARE here for the sake of others."
Hugs, Happiness and Harmony!
Julie
