Mo's MM "Kit"
Kits candy... square wrapped taffy candiesin banana, peanut butter, chocolate and strawberry flavors.
So off she went to Angie's Market. Running as fast as she could for what seemed a long time. She carefully crossed the streets but as she approached Angie's the memory of the banana flavor Kits was more then she could handle. She always lucked out though...never had a car horn honk or slam on the brakes.
She picked out her loot from the little bins....so much to choose from. She pulled the coin from her little pocket and the clerk tossed the Kits in the brown paper bag. She smiled, said a polite thank you and off she went. She barely waited till she was out of the store and started peeling away the outer wrapper. She felt the four little pieces fall apart in the bag and carefully tore off the wrapper from one of the banana squares. She could smell the banana before the wrap was removed. She popped it in her mouth and smiled as she started meandering her way home.
She caught a glimpse of the neighborhood trouble maker. She was as mean as her hair was red. Not wanting to have her candy stolen or get into a fight Julie took off running as fast as she could. She ran and ran for what seemed like hours looking over her shoulder only to see the neighborhood bullygirl still chasing after her.
This little girl still loves her candy but she doesn't get chased by red headed neighborhood bullygirls anymore.
Take a little click over to Mo's place and see what he has to say.
Hugs, Happiness and Harmony!
Julie

I love this story. I think I remember Kits. They seem kinda like Starbursts, except it's one flavor to a wrapper.
I always liked the mutliple candies in one - always seems like you were getting more candy for your money.

This is a great story. I hope young Julie got away safely with her candy. Bullies are nasty. Anyone who hurts another is in a great deal of inner pain. If we love our self we can not deliberately hurt anyone else. I hope the neighborhood bully girl has found self worth and self love as she grew up.
Hugs, Happiness & Harmony right back to you, Julie.

Nice story! Kind of reminds me of stories my mom sometimes tells of her visits to the store as a kid. She loves to tell me how much cheaper and bigger the candy was back then. :)
