Julie's Jewels and Junque

Welcome to my spot! A place filled with jewels and junk. Come on in and let me know what junk food you like, I'll be sure to have some here for you. Just leave me a note on what you take so I have plenty upon your return!. The jewels you ask? Well, hopefully you find my scattered thoughts as precious as gems.

Mo's MM "SHIP"

So I was wondering and waiting for a revelation to approach this thick skull of mine since I had not participated in Manic Monday for several weeks and I figured that the brain freeze would probably happen yet again this time. Then it hit me! I figured it was time for a Christmas song. And who better then the great Nat King Cole?

And then as I was going through all my winter shoes and boots I decided to give Sara a call and she gave me another idea! Man! When it happens....it HAPPENS!!!

Sara Sunshine scurried up to Stockholm Sweden over the weekend. And of course they had no accommodations planned ahead of time. They arrived around 2am and wandered around until 4am before they found a place to lay their heads. It turned out to be ...yup...you guessed it....A SHIP! Afloat on a body of water that she thinks was the Baltic Sea! She's crazy! Absolutely NUTS!!

This is the "ship" the she found a few hours of respite on.
The second night of her visit was in a refurbished prison!

Sara's view as she approached Stockholm, Sweden.

Next weekend she'll be snowboarding on the Alps in Switzerland! Maybe I can get my Venice pictures up before then!

Hugs, Happiness and Harmony!
Julie

Great MM Post! I guess the news about the OSU Buckeyes unlocked that brainfreeze as this was truly an inspired MM post. Thanx for the photos of your daughter and the NKC video...

My MM post this week involves cruising on the high seas.

Shoes have a funny way about inspiring people. I am constantly inspired by shoes. Men say they think on the toilet, I think while shoe shopping. LOL

    Happpy MM!

Wow - she's having a good time! I loved Sweden when I visited - they had ice sculptures on the bridges, and carol singing in the square with gluhwein (not sure of the spelling) etc. They can really do christmas.

Nice! What great memories she is making. I saw several floating hotels like that when I was in Amsterdam. They looked like fun. Perfect post for today.
