Skywatch Friday #1
I grew up in an area of beauty that i really didn't appreciate until I got older. Moving to middle class suburbia at the age of twelve and being thrust on a hundred acre farm in the middle of nothing was a major change.
It still boils down to solitude. Now I want it. It's all different now.I need to run "home" from time to time to find me.
Last Saturday was one of my "running home" days. As I was getting ready to leave Mom made a comment about the sky. I did what any normal blogger would do. I grabbed my camera and started to my subject! I was stunned. We were oohing and ahhhing and just enjoying the moment for all it was worth. Maybe if you click on the pictures you'll oooh and ahhh too!
Of course I was thinking about my debut for Skywatch Friday!Hugs, Happiness and Harmony!

I love those pictures. The sky is ominous, but there's also just enough light to really flame out the red in those trees.

Lovely pictures and I have been there too, just this weekend. I used a similar light and shadow picture on my 'shadow shot sunday' pic this weekend on my gallimaufry gleanings blog.
Don't you just love the strength of the sun at the end of the day!
