Thursday Thirteeen
My list for today: Favorite stuff ON my refrigerator! Yup.....I love sneaking my way over to people's refrigerators especially the first time I enter someone's house. I feel the stuff on your fridge says so much about you. I did a fun little thingy with a dear friend and admitted to having over 60 things on my fridge. Now I am NOT a messy person! I did manage to scale it back to 30 or so..but here are my top 13 favorite or important things on my fridge.
1. A magnet that definately immortalizes my cool cat Spazz. If you want Spazz's story...let me know!
2. A magnet from a wonderful ice cream company...Graeter...a special treat whenever I go to see Sara.
3. Nathan's schedule for this semester...even though he's doing an internship in FL...it's a habit and that is HIS spot on my fridge. What will go there after his graduation in May?
4. Sara painted a real cool watercolor from her page a day calendar from last year. No matter how old your kids are...their artwork is always special!
5. A picture of Cali....see post from Feb 6th.....we'll be picking up Cali from Sara this Saturday...her roommates are not treating Cali well and a local frat house wants her? Yeah right! Mom and Jeff to the rescue!! Chloe will love having a baby sister!
6. Sara's schedule for this semester...yup Sara has alot on my fridge!
7. BGSU parents hotline magnet....I never called it...Nathan did very well all through college and was always able to answer any questions I had.
8. Church calendar for the month. Oh great! They didn't annouce the homeless shelter meal....I hope I get a decent turnout tonight! YIKES!
9. A magnet that says "No one can drive us crazy unless we give them the keys." I bought it for Jeff during a particularly difficult time with Luke.
10. A pen with a magnet that my Grandma had in a bag of stuff...got it probably 5 years ago! I'm not what I'll do when it runs out of ink....it's always where I want it to be!
11. A little wooden lamb magnet that my mom got me years ago...it's dated 1991~!!
12. A shopping list tablet with lighthouses... with a magnet on the back..I love it!
13. School district numbers and dates....I look forward to NOT having this on my fridge...I've had a new one on my fridge every year since 1990! That's when my Nathan started kindergarten. I'm so discouraged with this district. You can have F's in 4 of your 5 classes and STILL PLAY SPORTS!! What are we teaching our kids? The school will issue a work permit if your flunking 4 of your 5 classes too! What is the purpose of a work permit? And on top of all that.....my taxes for half a year were $575, with $383 going to the school! Well, I guess that's a rant for another day!
OOOPS...I counted wrong....I have a number 14! I'm such a rebel...but it is the item that keeps us all aware of what's going on! The white board scheduler...couldn't live without it...I wonder if my life will ever slow down so I don't need it. I kinda hope NOT!
Hugs, Happiness and Harmony!
Julie

At least you have a modern refrigerator. No more defrosting, man I hated doing that.
Lovely Wife is the queen of refrigerator magnets, I'll have to steal this idea and use, since I have the hardest time coming up with T13 ideas.
I used to love going to my paternal grandparent's house. They had a really old fridge with the ker-klunk handle you had to pull out to open the door. Then I'd drink one of their Frescas.
Anyhoo, cool list. We've been looking all over for one of my daughter's papers that "should" be on the fridge but isn't.
