Julie's Jewels and Junque

Welcome to my spot! A place filled with jewels and junk. Come on in and let me know what junk food you like, I'll be sure to have some here for you. Just leave me a note on what you take so I have plenty upon your return!. The jewels you ask? Well, hopefully you find my scattered thoughts as precious as gems.

Mo's MM "OFFICE"

I am one of society who is blessed to work from home. I suppose it could be a curse also...but to look as this amazing view as I start my workday...in my jammies with my space heater snuggled up tight...I felt special! No pressure getting all glamed up for the day. No running the car to heat it. No race to work to punch a time clock.

Oh? The view? Check out the view from my OFFICE!
Double click to enjoy the details!

I call this Sunrise at 16 below.
Yeah...last week when the arctic blast rolled through it got down to
sixteen below zero!

Not normal for Ohio. Not at all!

This picture is the sunrise and ICE on the INSIDE of my storm door. It's a good thing we had a nice strong wooden door a couple inches thick! It's kinda pretty in a weird way though isn't it?

Make sure you go check out Mo and the rest of the Manic Monday gang here.

Hugs, Happiness and Harmony!
Julie

It sure looks cold there - but aided by a warm glow of a good way to work.

Wow! That ice on the window does not look inviting at all!

Anthonynorth! The sun's glow really helps!

Travis! It was crazy grazing over it with my fingernails and watching it flake to the floor!

Teach! Thanks for stopping here! Yeah...that was just TOO cold!

I was so glad not to have to go anywhere on Friday, but I was mad as heck that school wasn't cancelled!

I could work from home, but I need to have a reason to get dressed! Otherwise, I'd never get out of my relaxing clothes! So I work 5 miles away at The Swamp, which is the most awesome office ever! So much wildlife and so peaceful.

Isn't winter lovely? And school WAS cancelled here on Friday - the wimpy kids of today apparently can't handle the -42 temps that we had.

I just can't imagine cold like that!! It hits 40 degrees down here and I am frozen! It's supposed to be in the 20s tomorrow. BRRRR!

Great pictures, Julie. And yeah we're jealous that you get to stay home on the cold mornings. Course, my commute takes me past my favorite coffee shop. Every morning. For an awesome latte. :-)

I wandered over from someone else's blog and saw the gorgeous sunrise photo. I thought I was lucky to get to work at home in my PJ's.....but my office doesn't have any windows! Lucky you! I have to get up and take "photo breaks" to watch the birds....which is very bad for staying focused on work and for being "on the clock". Probably a good thing I don't have windows.
